European birds

europ voegel

Birds have always delighted and inspired humans. They fascinate as masters of flying and often as colourful singers.
This exhibition shows about three hundred preparations, an interesting and extensive cross section of the birdlife of Central Europe – allowing a comparison of species and study of the specific characteristics.
Shown are waders and waterfowls, owls, hawks, seagulls and passerine birds.
Additionally, one display shows a selection of birds in the city. Didactic boards inform about beak and feet forms, about plumage and about the skeleton of birds.
